I have been a customer of this deli for a long time, and always wanted to come back and buy some traditional food. Great selection of food and very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Came back again today and bought some yummy stuff...
110% the place to go for eastern European foods and drinks, absolutely delicious and affordable. Also a beautiful selection of small goods like salami and ham. If you are in need of any speciality goods, this is the place to go 💯
This shop has good selection of products BUT unfortunately it's EXTREMELY OVERPRICED and cooked foods like salads or cabbage rolls with meat is NOT that tasty and make with the cheapest possible ingredients, lacking of seasoning badly and while some ingredients in some salads should be a bit crunch (like beans or pea) instead everything is a sloppy tasteless mush. Cabbage rolls tasted off bit sour inside and out like it was made 2 weeks ago or something, everything else was same bad. Girls that serve are lovely but seem to be very distracted and confused, keeps switching between each other and then forgets what she needs to do etc pure chaos!! Because of the mess they create I ended up coming home with wrong items and extra items (pastries) that I didn't ask for but obviously had to pay for it. They just get so lost if there's more than 3 people in the shop. Pickled watermelon is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED too as there's only few slices swimming in vinegar with garlic and bit of seasoning box for $13!!! Let me ask what you been smoking to come up with this recipe for this price? It's nasty take it out of that shop! Who thought that sweet watermelon flavour will mix well with salt garlic and vinegar?? Insane and tastes vile!!! I bought because I couldn't believe the craziness and I had to taste it to see what the.... it WASN'T good AT ALL
Amazing place I went for the first time on Friday 30/08/2024 to get food from the Motherland to bring to a family get together to introduce my culture to my in-laws and the staff were so helpful 10/10 would recommend not just for the drinks but the food they make good snacks especially for the Suski with a cup of tea that makes it so much nice. Though I did spend over $300
This is where you buy the best buckwheat in Sydney 😆 also sushki, seledka pod shuboy, the Napoleon cake and many other delicious Russian food! I purchased and ate their salads on many occasions, they always taste like a proper home made meal.I understand Russian culture is not super popular right now but Russkis Deli has nothing to do with Putin's doings. This shop has been in Sydney for 20 years or longer and is run by immigrants of different nationalities.
Love this place. Always come here for. Chopped liver, fried fish balls and lots of other wonderful tasting delicious delicacies.Updated 06/05/2024.Just popped in late afternoon and picked up more of their delicious fish balls and cheesecake. This place has to be one of the best delicatessens ever. Fish balls taste exactly like my mother's Gefiltefish. And Grace the manager is such a Hottie.
Received an order with missing item, sent a few emails no response, called, nobody responded.. It’s only around $7 but you guys wouldn’t get rich from stealing from your customers. Used to be a good Russian/ Eastern European food shop .. Never again
Found this gem of a shop online and ordered pantry items by the box load! We live in Northern NSW and no European delis or food shops to be found 🥲 Travelled to Sydney on business and visited the shop for a pickup of our order. Excellent baked goods, good range of cut meats, friendly service and reasonable prices. A good supply of Polish staples which for my hubby is essential!!If ever we are back in Sydney we will stock up for sure 😊
Was served by a beautiful young blonde man last sunday, absolutely incredible service and delicacy whilst working. Definitely will come again and purchase more pies and russian delicacies. Young man 100% deserved of a raise in pay.
Alan and the staff at Russkis Deli provide outstanding and professional customers service.Alan and his staff’s patience were remarkable, and did not seemed bothered by time, in helping us find the best food combinations we needed for our party. They went above and beyond of the expectation and were able to deliver our orders in such short notice.
Russkis Deli in Bondi is an absolute gem. As a lifelong patron, the warm ambiance, authentic flavors, and friendly staff have kept me coming back for years. A must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of traditional Eastern European & local delicacies. Short and sweet, it's a timeless delight!
not quite pleasant experience.the cheers ($50 per kl) has been sliced with the skin, which as we discovered later appeared between slices. when i brought it to the staff attention the response was - we cannot to take skin off just for you.
Came there only a few times because is too far from me. But....!!! Never disappointed! 🙂 nice atmosphere, friendly staff and a lots of goodies 😋 which reminds memy childhood!!! 😊 Thank you Russkis Deli, will definitely come back!!!
This Russian deli is the peak of my childhood, my mum being from a Russian background loved this deli and made sure we did to. My personal favourite is the pelmeni but everything else is brilliant. One of my other personal favourites is the ice-creams that taste amazing. Definitely a must come to for people looking for some delicious Russian food.
